Job summary

Cencora (Alliance Healthcare) in Bicester is seeking a Multi Drop Driver to safely operate a 3.5-tonne van, complete pharmaceutical deliveries and maintain records. The role involves load/unload, high-volume daily routes, and delivering excellent customer service to pharmacies and healthcare providers.

Applicants must hold a valid manual licence with limited penalty points, possess experience in similar driving roles, and be able to work a demanding 6-day week.

Qualifications

• Valid manual driver's licence with no more than three ‘live’ points.
• Proven experience as a Multi Drop Van Driver or similar role.
• Familiarity with local traffic laws and knowledge of delivery areas/routes.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently while adhering to delivery schedules.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 3.5-tonne van to complete daily pharmaceutical deliveries.
• Load and unload totes onto the van while maintaining their integrity and security.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries made and any other relevant information.
• Communicate effectively with the transport team to relay updates or address any issues that may arise during the delivery process.
• Complete daily vehicle checks to ensure your van is in a roadworthy condition.
• Ability to lift tote bins with a weight up to 25 kg.
• Carry out upwards of 50 high-volume deliveries per day.
