Cencora in Preston is seeking a Multi Drop Delivery Driver to support Alliance Healthcare's European wholesale distribution. You will operate on a 48-hour weekly schedule with early start times between 5 am and 7 am across two daily shifts, handling drops and maintaining vehicle condition.

The role requires a full driving licence, good customer service, and reliable numeracy and literacy. You will join a team focused on safety, efficiency, and timely deliveries, with opportunities to contribute

Qualifications

• Full driving license held.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer care.
• Numeracy and literacy competence.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a safe and competent standard of driving, observing speed limits and road signs.
• Daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness (lights, brakes, coolant, etc).
• Report any faults, breakdowns, accidents or delays.
• Keep vehicle clean and in good internal/external condition.
• Ensure sufficient fuel for the day’s work.
• Maintain security of the vehicle and its contents at all times.
• Check dropsheets against orders and load orders accordingly.
• Collect goods returned and ensure safe return to the branch as instructed.
• Handle damages/breakages promptly following HazChem procedures.
• Maintain a smart appearance and good customer relations.
• Participate in warehouse duties as defined by management.
• Meet all Health & Safety requirements.
