The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of our client in the Darlington area for several multi-drop van drivers. Shifts are Monday to Friday, starting at 07:00 to 09:00. Pay rate is £13.31 per hour PAYE.

Location: Darlington, DL1 2BJ. Ongoing with potential for permanent for the right candidate. Role involves safely delivering parcels, representing the brand, loading/unloading, and using a handheld scanner to handle up to 100 shipments per day.

Qualifications

• Valid UK drivers licence.
• Multi-drop experience preferred.
• Licence with no more than 6 points (minor offences only).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to load/unload manually.
• Excellent time management and organisation.

Responsabilités

• Safely and efficiently operate a company van to deliver parcels.
• Represent the brand, maintain a clean vehicle and be courteous.
• Load and unload parcels safely.
• Deliver to designated locations within set timeframes.
• Handle and deliver sensitive materials when authorised and provide high levels of customer care.
• Use handheld scanner and equipment to manage up to 100 shipments per day.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Darlington area. We are looking for several dedicated multi-drop van drivers to join the team.

Shifts: Monday to Friday.

Hours: 07:00 - 09:00am starts

Pay Rate: £13.31 per hour PAYE.

Location: Darlington, DL1 2BJ

Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate.

The role:

• Safely and efficiently operate a company van to deliver high value goods (parcels).
• Positively representing the brand, maintaining a clean vehicle and being a courteous driver.
• Safe loading and unloading of parcels on to a van.
• Delivery of products, goods and parcels safely and efficiently to designated locations within set timeframes.
• Ensure proper handling and delivery of sensitive materials with authorisation, if necessary and deliver high standards of customer care.
• Properly use and maintain delivery equipment, including handheld scanner, to deliver up to 100 shipments per day.

Requirements:

• A valid UK driver's license.
• Multi- drop experience (preferable).
• Have no more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to manually load and unload vehicles.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
