Job summary

As a Multi-drop Class 2 Driver for Matthew Clark within the C&C Group, you will deliver orders to customer premises with a Driver's Mate, ensuring on-time, safe, and courteous service. You will operate across a defined geographic area from the depot, maintain vehicle checks, and manage paperwork while adhering to Tachograph rules.

A valid HGV licence with CPC and at least three years of driving experience are required, with weekend peak periods possible.

Qualifications

• 3 years driving experience and a valid HGV CPC licence are essential.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are required.
• Experience with multi-drop deliveries is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Undertake vehicle inspection checks and ensure orders are secured and packaged for delivery.
• Liaise with Driver's Mate to download running sheet and orders.
• Inform customers of delays, stock shortages or problems.
• Assist with unloading orders from vehicle to customer premises.
• Collect empty kegs/pallets and ensure proper handling back at depot.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures.
• Complete paperwork and EPOD tasks and related admin.
• Coordinate with Transport Management on vehicle issues/delays.
• Ensure compliance with Tachograph legislation.
