Job summary

C&C Group Plc is recruiting a Multi Drop Class 2 Driver to join Matthew Clark on a full-time permanent basis. You will deliver orders to customers within a geographical radius from the depot, with a Driver's Mate assisting, ensuring on-time and in-full delivery.

Shifts are Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work during peak periods. You will be responsible for vehicle checks, accurate loading, and upholding high standards of customer service at all times.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV driving licence and CPC licence.
• Over three years' driving experience, including at least 12 months of Class 2.
• Experience delivering to customer premises with good service.
• Good communication skills and ability to handle delivery scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Undertake vehicle inspection checks.
• Ensure customer orders are secured and packaged correctly for delivery prior to departure.
• Liaise with Driver’s mate to provide a download of the running sheet and orders.
• Inform the customer of delays, stock shortages or problems.
• Assist with unloading of orders at customer premises.
• Collect empty kegs/pallets and returns and manage storage at the depot.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed.
• Complete paperwork/EPOD tasks and liaise with Transport Management on vehicle issues.
• Ensure full compliance with Tachograph legislation.
