Job summary

Team Jobs - Commercial in Manchester is seeking a Fire & Security Engineer to join a multi-disciplined team. The role covers installation, servicing, maintenance and fault finding across fire and security systems with regional travel.

The ideal candidate has strong fault-finding skills, knowledge of BS 5839 standards, and experience with fire alarms and/or security systems. Travel to customer sites is required and the position is full-time and permanent.

Qualifications

Previous experience with fire and security systems.
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of BS 5839 fire safety standards.
Experience with fire alarms and/or security systems.
Willingness to travel to customer sites.
Relevant industry qualifications or certifications would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Servicing and maintaining fire alarm and detection systems.
Working on fire suppression systems.
Installing, maintaining and fault finding security systems.
Working with CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems.
Carrying out inspections, testing and compliance checks.
Diagnosing faults and providing effective technical solutions.
Ensuring systems are operating correctly and in line with relevant standards.
Supporting wider fire safety projects and providing technical advice where required.
Travelling to customer sites across the region.
