Job summary

Total Integrated Solutions (TIS) Ltd in Birmingham is seeking a proactive Multi-Disciplined Engineer to service and maintain Access Control, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Fire Alarms and Networking across client sites.

The role requires a customer-focused engineer with at least 3 years’ experience, a full UK driving licence and a willingness to undertake fire alarm training to become fully multi-disciplined. Career progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in maintenance and repair of the relevant systems.
• Willingness to undertake fire alarm training and develop multi-disciplined skills.
• Ability to complete documentation accurately using service management systems.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain Access Control, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Fire Alarms and Networking systems.
• Assist with commissioning of systems as required.
• Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality service on site.
• Complete timesheets and job reports in the company system.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures and participate in on-call rota.

Multi Disciplined Engineer - Ref: V349

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Multi-Disciplined Engineer to join our growing team in the Birmingham area. This is a excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to expand their expertise across a range of fire and security systems, including Access Control, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Fire Alarms, and Networking.

The successful candidate will be customer-focused, self-motivated, and committed to delivering high-quality service. Ongoing training and development will be provided to support your professional growth.

The Role Involves

• Service and maintain Access Control, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Fire Alarms and Networking systems
• Demonstrate a willingness to undertake fire alarm training and develop into a fully multi-disciplined engineer
• Provide support with the commissioning of systems, when required
• Ensure client satisfaction is achieved before leaving site by delivering a high standard of service
• Accurately complete all required documentation, including timesheets, and job reports, using the Company’s service management system
• Deliver an outstanding level of customer service at all times
• Adhere to all relevant health and safety procedures and best practices
• Participate in the Company’s out of hours callout rota

Key Experience / Qualifications

• Demonstrate technical knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems, High-End CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm Systems
• Knowledge of networking and PABX systems would be an advantage
• Gent approved engineer status is desirable (training provided if not certified)
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in maintenance and repair of the relevant systems
• Full UK Driving Licence
