Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking an Infrastructure Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure cloud and hybrid infrastructure across multi-cloud environments. You will partner with engineering to embed security into how we build and run systems, with an automation-first mindset.

The role emphasizes secure IaC, container and Kubernetes security, and ongoing security operations including monitoring, SIEM pipelines, and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in cloud or infrastructure security.
• Strong cloud security knowledge with compliance familiarity.
• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Proficient in Python or Bash for automation; able to script security tooling.
• EU/UK location or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure cloud architectures across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Build and secure mission-critical apps in hybrid cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code templates with embedded security controls.
• Assist with security assessments and audits of cloud infrastructure and services.
• Implement and manage cloud security tools (CSPM, CWPP, CASB).
• Manage identities and roles across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Monitor and remediate infrastructure to comply with PCI, NIST CSF, GDPR, HIPAA.
• Design and implement secure container standards and automation.
• Maintain Kubernetes security aligned with best practices.
• Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and code scanning.
• Monitor security events and incidents; maintain SIEM data pipelines.
• Develop dashboards and alerts from security metrics.
• Own security projects end to end and stay current with threats.
