Job Title: Multi-Asset Equity & Fixed Income Sales Trader

Location: Slough, United Kingdom

Employment Type: Full-Time (10am-9pm UKT)

About the Role:

Our London-based Sales & Trading team is seeking an experienced Multi-Asset Sales Trader specializing in equities and fixed income. The role involves executing trades, providing liquidity, and delivering market insights to institutional clients. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of European, US, and global markets, maintain strong client relationships, and navigate multi-asset trading strategies effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Execute and facilitate trades across equities and fixed income products for institutional clients such as asset managers and hedge funds.
2. Generate transaction revenue through trade execution and client relationship management, contributing to growth and process development.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with buy-side and sell-side clients, offering liquidity solutions and market intelligence.
4. Develop marketing and sales plans to identify potential new clients and achieve revenue targets.
5. Monitor macroeconomic trends, central bank policies, and geopolitical events to provide actionable trade ideas.
6. Collaborate with internal and external teams, including global offices, to develop tailored client solutions.
7. Ensure compliance with MiFID II, FCA regulations, and internal risk controls.
8. Identify new business opportunities and expand the client base within the EMEA region.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. 5+ years of sales trading experience in equities and fixed income (government/corporate bonds, credit, rates).
2. Strong knowledge of European and global markets and execution techniques.
3. Existing UK/EMEA client base with proven revenue generation is preferred.
4. Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex trades under pressure.
5. Familiarity with trading platforms such as Bloomberg, Ezesoft, Tradeweb, MarketAxess.
6. Proven sales ability with a track record of client acquisition and retention.
