Job Title: Multi-Asset Equity & Fixed Income Sales Trader

Location: London, UK

Employment Type: Full-Time (10am-9pm UKT)

About the Role:

Our London-based Sales & Trading team is seeking an experienced Multi-Asset Sales Trader specializing in equities and fixed income. The role involves executing trades, providing liquidity, and delivering market insights to institutional clients. The candidate should possess a deep understanding of European, US, and global markets, maintain strong client relationships, and be skilled in multi-asset trading strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and facilitate trades across equities and fixed income products for institutional clients such as asset managers and hedge funds.
• Generate revenue through trade execution and client relationship management, while contributing to client acquisition and process development.
• Build and maintain relationships with buy-side and sell-side clients, offering liquidity solutions and market intelligence, including daily market updates.
• Develop marketing and sales strategies to identify new clients and meet revenue targets.
• Monitor macroeconomic trends, central bank policies, and geopolitical events to provide actionable trade ideas.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams, including global offices, to develop tailored client solutions. Support in areas like order taking, book building, and exposure monitoring, especially in capital markets.
• Ensure compliance with MiFID II, FCA regulations, and internal risk controls.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the client base across EMEA.

Qualifications & Experience:

• At least 5 years of sales trading experience in equities and fixed income (government/corporate bonds, credit, rates).
• Strong knowledge of European and global markets and execution techniques.
• Existing UK/EMEA client base with proven revenue generation is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex trades under pressure.
• Familiarity with trading platforms such as Bloomberg, Ezesoft, Tradeweb, MarketAxess, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven sales ability with a track record of client acquisition and retention.
