Job summary

Legal & General Group is seeking a Multi Asset Analyst (12-month maternity cover) to join the Rates and Inflation team. You will model strategies, maintain data systems and deliver robust analytics to support allocation decisions.

You will collaborate with research and strategy colleagues to propose and document ideas, ensuring outputs are auditable and well documented in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Strong coding ability to enhance asset allocation tools.
• Deep understanding of complex asset classes and derivatives.
• Proficiency in statistics/econometrics for risk and research.
• Experience with VBA, Python or MATLAB for analytics.

Responsibilities

• Model investment strategies across asset classes including derivatives.
• Maintain and update databases supporting investment processes.
• Produce ad-hoc analyses of datasets and risk metrics.
• Develop and document new asset classes and ideas.
• Enhance quantitative tools underpinning asset allocation.
