Bright Purple in Edinburgh is hiring a 2nd Line IT Support Technician focused on Microsoft technologies within a Managed Services Provider environment. Office-based Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an MSP environment.
• Microsoft certifications MS-900, Azure Administrator and/or Security Administrator (external validation preferred).
• Specialism in mobile device management or security administration is desirable.
• Outstanding communication skills with professional engagement at all levels.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Genuine passion for technology and proven troubleshooting ability.
• Collaborative team player in a busy, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Resolve support tickets and troubleshoot complex client issues across the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Support end-users within Microsoft 365, Azure, desktop and server environments.
• Monitor and maintain client infrastructure to high standards.
• Apply strong network troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve issues quickly.
• Deliver professional, high-quality service to a varied and demanding client base.
