Job summary

East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a capable radiologist who has completed UK or equivalent radiology training and can independently report MSK MRI, CT, and ultrasound examinations. The role includes leading the orthopaedic MDT and performing MSK ultrasound and fluoroscopy procedures with authority over MSK imaging reporting.

Qualifications

• Must have completed radiology training (UK or equivalent)
• Able to independently report MRI, CT and US examinations within MSK subspecialty areas
• Experienced with CT and MRI imaging in both inpatients and outpatients
• Capable of leading in the orthopaedic MDT
• Proficient in MSK ultrasound, fluoroscopy and MSK imaging reporting

Responsibilities

• Lead the orthopaedic MDT.
• Independently report MSK X-ray, CT and MRI imaging.
• Perform MSK ultrasound and MSK fluoroscopy procedures independently.
• Provide specialist MSK opinions for clinicians.
