Job summary

Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in Merseyside is seeking a substantive Consultant Radiologist with a Sub-speciality Interest in Musculoskeletal Imaging to join a dynamic, multi-site team delivering MDT care.

The post is based at Southport and Ormskirk site with an option to work across other sites, and comprises 10 sessions per week with a mix of MSK and general radiology, audits, and education responsibilities.

Qualifications

• MBBS/MBCHB and FRCR or equivalent qualifications.
• UK specialist registration on the GMC or within six months of interview.
• Membership of Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) or equivalent.
• Subspecialty interest in MSK radiology.
• Willingness to work across sites and MDT involvement.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the expanding MSK workload and participate in MDT meetings.
• Cover general radiology workload as required to support the service.
• Participate in audits, clinical governance and teaching.
• Support training and supervision of radiology trainees.
