Northumbria Healthcare Nhs Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced MSK Physiotherapist to join the JMAPS and First Contact Practice Musculoskeletal teams. The role is based within the Physiotherapy department at Wansbeck General Hospital and related sites, with potential Trust-wide opportunities.

Qualifications

Significant experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
Experience with post-operative care is desirable.

Responsabilités

To assess and treat an independent physiotherapy caseload.
To work or work towards working as a First Contact Practitioner with indirect supervision as required.
To work as part of the physiotherapy team under the supervision of senior physiotherapy staff.
To assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate therapy programmes for an individual clinical caseload.
To liaise with senior staff on a regular basis to ensure appropriate management of patients.
To delegate appropriately to unregistered workforce.
To provide supervision to Band 5, unregistered staff and students.
With guidance from senior physiotherapists, maintain a high level of evidence-based practice through continual review of current research.
