Northumbria Healthcare Nhs Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced MSK Physiotherapist to join the JMAPS and First Contact Practice Musculoskeletal teams. The role is based within the Physiotherapy department at Wansbeck General Hospital and related sites, with potential Trust-wide opportunities.

Significant experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
Experience with post-operative care is desirable.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapist to work in JMAPS (Joint Musculoskeletal And Pain Service) and our First Contact Practice Musculoskeletal team. Ideal for enthusiastic, skilled, staff who have evidence of significant experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy including post-operative care. The role, based within the Physiotherapy department at Wansbeck General Hospital and/or the surrounding JMAPS sites and GP practices. There is potential for Trust wide working. There may be development opportunities in group rehabilitation, rheumatology physiotherapy and pain management physiotherapy. CPD is actively encouraged within our teams and supervision is provided by Senior Physiotherapy clinicians supporting staff to achieve their individual learning outcomes, supported by a robust appraisal system.,

We manage three major locality hospitals at North Tyneside, Wansbeck and Hexham, plus a number of smaller community hospitals and clinics from Tynemouth to Berwick on Tweed, in addition to our state-of-the-art Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital, the first of its kind in England. We also care for people in their homes and provide services from facilities in local communities such as health centres. We give people greater choice and control over their care to help them to live independently at home and avoid hospital admission where appropriate.
