Job summary

Boeing is seeking a VL MRO Training Coordinator to join the BDUK Maintenance Repair Operations team at the Army Aviation Centre, Middle Wallop. You will coordinate internal and external training requirements for Vertical Lift Maintenance personnel and manage authorisations and training qualifications on behalf of the MRO.

  • Excellent communication skills to engage with personnel at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage the maintenance authorisations for Operations Personnel.
  • Identify, arrange and coordinate external training providers when required.
  • Deliver training with the help of the T&A Team when required by operations.
  • Provide shop floor level on-the-job training for maintenance activities as required.
  • Monitor development plans of the apprentices and provide guidance.
  • Collaborate with Training, Quality and Apprentice Teams to achieve the desired outcome.
  • Collaborate with other MRO platforms to ensure ongoing success of BDUK MRO.
  • Manage ad-hoc MRO projects as directed by Senior Leadership.
  • Travel may be required based on business needs.

In order to provide continued support to the customer, we are looking for a VL MRO Training Coordinator to join the BDUK Maintenance Repair Operations team and coordinate both internal and external training requirements for our Vertical Lift Maintenance personnel.

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Support Manager, this role will be based at the Army Aviation Centre, Middle Wallop supporting the training requirements of BDUK personnel.

The primary responsibility of the role is to manage and maintain the wide range of authorisations and training qualification held by VL maintenance personnel on behalf of the MRO.

Basic Qualifications
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
Preferred Qualifications and experience
  • Experience in delivering aircraft maintenance training.
  • Excellent communication skills that provide the ability to engage effectively with personnel at all levels.
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively and proactively manage their own workload.
  • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Candidates with an appropriate mix of formal qualifications and experience to the role will be considered.
Work Authorisation

This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK. Candidate must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in the United Kingdom. Boeing will not attempt to obtain Immigration and labour sponsorship for any applicants. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
