Qualifications

• More than 5 years in consultancy with strong cost management experience.
• Experience leading procurement strategies and managing contracts.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while engaging clients effectively.
• Experience with pre- and post-contract duties and handling JCT/NEC contracts.

The Role

As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take the lead on a diverse portfolio of projects, providing expert cost management and commercial advice from feasibility through to final account. You will be responsible for:

• Managing all cost planning and estimating activities
• Preparing and presenting detailed cost reports
• Leading procurement strategies and tender processes
• Managing contracts including JCT & NEC
• Stakeholder engagement and client management
• Mentoring and developing junior team members
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Providing sector‑specific commercial insight across multi‑sector schemes

About You

Essential:

• MRICS Chartered (essential)
• Proven experience within a consultancy environment
• Strong technical knowledge across pre‑ and post‑contract duties
• Confident client‑facing skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
• Excellent communication, numerical and analytical abilities
• Proactive, collaborative, and commercially astute approach
• Experience across a variety of sectors such as Education, Residential, Commercial or Healthcare
• Experience working within a growing or dynamic consultancy
