Job summary

Vivid Resourcing Ltd is seeking an Interim Senior Estates Surveyor for a Local Authority, offering hybrid working and a day rate of £500-£550. The contract is six months initially.

You will manage a diverse property portfolio, lead landlord and tenant matters, oversee acquisitions and disposals, rent reviews, and provide strategic property advice to senior stakeholders while coordinating external consultants and legal teams.

Qualifications

• MRICS qualified with proven Estates Surveying experience within a Local Authority.
• Strong knowledge of landlord and tenant legislation.
• Experience of acquisitions, disposals, rent reviews and lease negotiations.
• Ability to manage a varied property portfolio with minimal supervision.
• Excellent stakeholder management and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of commercial, operational and investment properties.
• Lead on landlord and tenant matters including lease renewals, rent reviews and licence negotiations.
• Undertake property acquisitions, disposals and valuations.
• Identify and deliver opportunities for income generation and asset optimisation.
• Provide strategic property advice to senior stakeholders and service departments.
• Instruct and manage external consultants, agents and legal teams.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and local authority policies.
• Support wider property and regeneration projects as required.
