Job summary

The National Trust is seeking an Estate Manager to lead our agricultural portfolio across London and Surrey. You’ll drive tenancy and licence management, rent reviews and strategic estate planning to deliver environmental and financial benefits. Hybrid working is available with site visits as needed.

With MRICS Rural Pathway and strong experience in rural estate management, you’ll shape long-term estate strategy and collaborate with partners to enhance landscapes for people and nature.

Qualifications

MRICS qualification (Rural Pathway) is mandatory.
Experience in agricultural and rural estate management is essential.
Knowledge of rural property, landlord and tenant matters, agriculture and land use.

Responsibilities

Oversee a diverse portfolio of agricultural holdings across tenancy and licence agreements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants and stakeholders; manage rent reviews and lease renewals.
Deliver estate management plans to enhance performance and long‑term value; identify diversification and land use opportunities.
