The National Trust seeks a MRICS-qualified Rural Surveyor to work across Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire, with a focus on West Oxfordshire, Thames Valley and Cliveden. You will manage our let estate portfolio day to day while providing technical land management advice, supporting the care and development of our land and property holdings across the region.

The role covers three counties with a hybrid working policy; expected site attendance at National Trust places is a minimum of

Qualifications

• Knowledge of land use, agriculture, asset management, land management, environmental issues, conservation and sustainable development.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills including influencing and negotiation.
• Ability to analyse, interpret and resolve rural surveying problems using technical knowledge to implement workable solutions.
• Demonstrates practical experience collaborating within structured project teams to achieve shared objectives.

Responsabilités

• Support day-to-day estate management across the estate.
• Provide technical land management advice and guidance.
• Assist with commercial lettings and tenancy matters.
• Assist with acquisitions and disposals when needed.
• Build strong relationships with tenants to support conservation work.
