Centrick is seeking a MRICS-qualified Residential Valuation Surveyor to perform bank panel valuations across the Midlands. You will work to lender requirements and RICS Red Book standards, inspecting properties and producing evidence-based valuations.

The role emphasizes independent reporting, market analysis and effective stakeholder communication, with travel across the region and a focus on delivering high-quality valuation reports.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years MRICS qualification and experience in residential property valuation.
• Previous experience undertaking mortgage valuations for banks, building societies or other financial institutions through lender panel instructions.
• Strong working knowledge of RICS Red Book standards and their application to residential valuation work.
• Good understanding of mortgage lending requirements, valuation reporting and the importance of accurate, evidence-based assessments.
• Strong knowledge of residential property markets across the Midlands.
• Excellent analytical, numerical and report-writing skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload, meet deadlines and work independently while contributing to a wider team.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with a professional approach to client and lender relationships.

Aufgaben

• Undertake residential & commercial mortgage valuations across the Midlands for banks and lenders, following instructions.
• Ensure valuations comply with RICS Red Book Global Standards and lender requirements.
• Conduct property inspections and assess condition, location, and factors affecting value.
• Prepare clear, well-supported valuation reports within agreed timescales.
• Research comparable evidence and market conditions to support valuation conclusions.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure quality, accuracy and integrity of work.
• Manage valuation instructions, prioritise deadlines and maintain service levels.
• Liaise professionally with lenders, clients and colleagues throughout the process.
