Vail Williams LLP is seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join our South Coast Building Consultancy team. The role focuses on Technical Advisory and Project Delivery, delivering detailed condition reports, DD surveys, and dilapidations work for a prestigious client base.

The ideal candidate will hold MRICS (Building Surveying) with strong client-facing, business development and project delivery experience, complemented by excellent networking and collaboration skills within

Qualifications

• MRICS qualification (Building Surveying) is required
• Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills
• Experience in client-facing roles
• Business development experience desired
• Experience with professional transaction work and project delivery
• Referral and networking experience beneficial

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed condition reports for owners, investors and tenants
• Conduct Technical Due Diligence surveys and reporting
• Carry out Building Pathology surveys and defect assessments
• Prepare dilapidations and exit strategies for leases
• Perform party wall inspections and related advice
• Lead project delivery including coordination with design and construction teams
