Qualifications

• MRICS qualification or working towards chartership is required.
• Broad experience across building surveying instructions and sectors.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a range of professional instructions: building surveys, condition surveys, defect analysis, due diligence.
• Manage project work: contract administration, project monitoring, refurbishment schemes.
• Prepare specifications, schedules of work, tender documentation.
• Conduct building inspections and provide commercially-focused advice.
• Manage instructions from inception to completion and ensure high-quality delivery.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and support junior colleagues.

We are working with a leading property consultancy to recruit an experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join their established team based in Worcester.

The Role

The successful candidate will undertake a broad mix of project and professional instructions, providing expert building surveying advice to a varied client base. Working within an established team, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of your workload, develop client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the business.

• Delivering a range of professional instructions, including building surveys, condition surveys, defect analysis and technical due diligence.
• Managing project work, including contract administration, project monitoring and refurbishment schemes.
• Preparing specifications, schedules of work and tender documentation.
• Undertaking building inspections and providing practical, commercially focused advice to clients.
• Managing instructions from inception through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors and other property professionals.
• Supporting junior colleagues and contributing to the development of the wider team.

About You

We are looking for a motivated and commercially minded Building Surveyor who enjoys working across both project and professional services.

• MRICS qualification, or be working towards chartership with suitable experience.
