Job summary

Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic MRI Radiographer to join a centre specialising in trauma, neurosciences and stroke services. You will work as part of a dedicated team across five MR scanners, delivering high-quality imaging for complex cases and providing training to new staff and students.

The role requires excellent communication and teamwork as well as flexibility to cover 24-hour service with core hours from 8am to 8pm, and weekend/on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Experienced MRI radiographer in a hospital environment.
• Ability to work across multiple MRI scanners and shift patterns.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through all MRI scanners, delivering imaging for acute and general exams.
• Assist in training new staff and students as required.
• Provide patient-focused imaging with attention to safety and accuracy.
