Job summary

Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trusts is seeking an experienced MRI Radiographer to join our Nottingham imaging team on a part-time basis (24 hours per week). You will work at the University Hospital site and on an on-site relocatable unit, providing high-quality MRI scans and patient care.

The role requires HCPC registration, a solid understanding of MRI physics, and experience in hospital or mobile MRI settings.

Qualifications

• BSc in Radiography or equivalent HCPC registration.
• Confident with MRI physics, scanning techniques and sequences.
• Experience with MRI in hospital or mobile settings.
• Calm under pressure and a team player.
• Passionate about patient care and improvement; GDPR/Data Protection awareness.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans to high standards following MHRA/IR(ME)R guidelines.
• Put patients at ease and support them throughout the MRI journey.
• Run equipment quality checks and maintain safety.
• Keep accurate patient records and support bookings.
• Share knowledge with colleagues and support team development.
• Work flexibly across the week, including weekends.

MRI Radiographer Nottingham Specialist Imaging Centre Shifts: 3 x 12-hour shifts, 8am8pm, MondaySunday (flexible within 7am9pm) Location: Nottingham University Hospital site InHealth Imaging Centre & on-site relocatable unit

InHealth sees over 5 million patients each year , and our diagnostic imaging service is one of the busiest! We're on the hunt for a friendly, skilled MRI Radiographer to join our Nottingham team on a part-time, 24 hours per week basis.

What Youll Be Doing

• Performing MRI scans to top standards , following MHRA, IR(ME)R, and professional guidelines.
• Making patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their MRI journey.
• Running equipment quality checks and keeping everything safe and smooth.
• Keeping patient records accurate and supporting bookings.
• Sharing your knowledge with colleagues and helping the team grow.
• Working flexibly across the week, including weekends.

Who You Are

• BSc in Radiography or equivalent HCPC registered
• Confident with MRI physics, scanning techniques & sequences
• Experienced with MRI in hospital or mobile settings
• Calm under pressure and a team player
• Passionate about patient care and always looking to improve
• Knowledge of GDPR, Data Protection Act & Caldicott Principles

• If You: Have experience with contrast scans or are eager to learn
