Circle Health Group's The Park Hospital in Nottingham is seeking a Radiographer - MRI (Bank) to join the Imaging team on an as-needed basis. You will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, ensure high-quality images and adapt techniques for diverse patients.

The role requires HCPC registration and a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography, with opportunities to work with radiologists and other healthcare professionals in a patient-centred, multidisciplinary setting.

Qualifikationen

• BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification.
• HCPC registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer.
• Experience in general radiographic techniques and equipment.
• Good understanding of IR(ME)R, health & safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centred approach.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Postgraduate experience or additional training in a specialist area desirable (e.g., CT, MRI, theatre imaging, mammography).

Aufgaben

• Perform a wide range of diagnostic radiographic procedures (e.g., general X-rays, theatre, fluoroscopy, mobiles).
• Ensure high-quality images are produced to support accurate diagnosis, minimising repeats.
• Adapt techniques to meet patient needs (pediatrics, bariatrics, mobility issues).
• Provide a safe, dignified, patient-centred service; keep patients informed and reassured.
• Monitor patients’ conditions during procedures and respond to deterioration.
• Ensure equipment is checked, maintained and used safely; report faults.
• Assist in implementing new imaging technologies (PACS, RIS).
• Collaborate with radiologists, consultants, nurses, porters and admin teams.
