Job summary

Circle Health Group is seeking a Radiographer – MRI for Kings Oak Hospital in Enfield on a bank basis. The role requires HCPC registration, 2+ years MRI experience, and a patient-centred approach. You will perform a broad range of radiographic procedures and support imaging workflows across departments.

The position offers flexible hours in a private hospital group known for specialist services, with opportunities to develop in a driven multidisciplinary team and access to ongoing training.

Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification.
• HCPC registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer.
• Experience in general radiographic techniques and equipment.
• 2+ years MRI experience.
• Good understanding of IR(ME)R, health & safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centred approach.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Postgraduate experience or additional training in a specialist area desirable (e.g., CT, MRI, theatre imaging, mammography).

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of diagnostic radiographic procedures following referral and imaging protocols.
• Ensure high-quality images to support accurate diagnosis and minimise repeats.
• Adapt techniques to meet patient needs, including paediatrics and bariatrics.
• Provide a safe, dignified, patient-centred service.
• Monitor patients and respond to deterioration.
• Ensure equipment is checked, maintained and reported faults.
• Assist in new imaging technologies and digital systems (PACS, RIS).
• Work with radiologists, consultants, nurses, porters and admin teams to coordinate care.
