The ideal candidate will perform a variety of MRI examinations. This role is ideal for someone seeking to gain valuable experience and develop their career. The successful candidate should have a flexible, patient-focused approach and be able to work effectively within a team. Building excellent rapport with patients and customers (both internal and external) while maintaining high standards of care and service is essential.
The candidate should have 1 or more years of MRI experience, with the organizational skills to work collaboratively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and IT literacy are required. Experience with performing different types of MRI scans (including contrast and non-contrast) routinely is expected.
Previous cannulation experience is advantageous. IV cannulation skills are essential for this role (training will be provided if needed). Evidence of clinical competency, a flexible approach to work, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are required. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills, along with excellent communication and negotiation abilities, are important. The candidate should be innovative, forward-thinking, and capable of troubleshooting and problem-solving. Attention to detail is crucial. IT literacy is a must. The ability to work under pressure both independently and within a team is essential. HCPC registration is required.
You will work with a dedicated team of Senior Radiographers, Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, HCAs, and administrative staff. Reporting to the Unit Manager, you will also receive support from a Clinical Lead.
