A leading company in imaging services is seeking a skilled MRI Radiographer for their Taunton Diagnostic Centre. The role involves performing various MRI examinations, ensuring high standards of patient care, and working collaboratively within a dedicated team. Candidates should possess at least 1 year of MRI experience, HCPC registration, and strong communication skills.

The ideal candidate will perform a wide variety of MRI examinations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience and further develop their career. The successful candidate should have a flexible, patient-focused attitude and be able to work flexibly within the team. Building an excellent rapport with patients and customers (both internal and external) and maintaining high standards of care and service are essential.
The candidate should have 1 or more years of MRI experience, with the ability and organisational skills to work effectively with the team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and IT literacy are essential. The candidate should be accustomed to performing different types of MRI scans (including contrast and non-contrast) routinely.
Previous cannulation experience would be an advantage. IV cannulation skills are essential for this role (training will be provided where required). Evidence of clinical competency, a flexible approach to work, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are necessary.
Additional requirements include excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, including time management, communication, negotiating skills, and attention to detail. The candidate must be IT literate and able to work under pressure both independently and within a team. HCPC registration is mandatory.
You will work with a dedicated team of Senior Radiographers, Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, HCAs, and administrative staff. You will report to the Unit Manager but will also have support from a Clinical Lead.
