Our Radiology Team currently has an opportunity for a CT Lead Radiographer at The Manor Hospital. Join us and work on a 256 Cannon Aquillion One scanner. Core hours are between 8:00 and 20:00, with participation in the on-call rota covering X-ray, Theatre, and CT services.
The person
  • ABSC degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent, meeting HCPC registration requirements.
  • Responsible for management and daily operations of the CT department.
  • Manage the specialist service, ensuring optimal use of staffing and equipment resources within CT.
  • Implement protocols and stay updated with advancements in CT imaging.
  • Provide professional leadership to the CT team, ensuring high-quality, patient-focused service.
  • Possess high technical knowledge, with the ability to work quickly and accurately, with attention to detail.
  • Experience in multiple modalities, maintaining high diagnostic standards across X-ray, theatre, and CT.
To succeed as a CT Lead Radiographer, you will need:
  • Current HCPC registration.
  • Proven experience and understanding of UK legislation and governing bodies related to Radiology.
  • Postgraduate qualification or relevant clinical experience in CT (desirable).
  • Certificate in intravenous administration and cannulation (desirable).
  • Post-registration experience in Cardiac CT Scanning (desirable).
