Job summary

The Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Band 6 Radiographer with specialist cardiac MRI expertise to join the imaging team in Epsom. You will lead the cardiac MRI workflow, ensure high-quality images, and support colleagues across the department.

Responsibilities include training junior radiographers in cardiac MRI techniques, maintaining governance and safety standards, and contributing to service improvements through CPD and documentation accuracy.

• Managing the cardiac MRI imaging workflow efficiently to meet clinical demands and patient needs.
• Providing specialist training and support to junior radiographers and other staff in cardiac MRI techniques.
• Adhering strictly to all clinical governance, health and safety, and MRI safety protocols.
• Demonstrating comprehensive knowledge and competency in all aspects of MRI examinations, in addition to specialist cardiac MRI.
• Ensuring accurate documentation and image quality control for diagnostic purposes.
• Participating in continuous professional development and contributing to service improvement initiatives.
