Job summary

Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust in Epsom is recruiting an MRI Cardiac Radiographer (Band 7) to lead and deliver high-quality cardiac MRI scans. You will work with the MRI Lead and Cardiology Lead to develop the service, while also performing general MRI examinations to support the broader imaging portfolio.

You will be responsible for setting up the new cardiac MRI service, ensuring patient safety, comfort and dignity, and collaborating with clinicians to provide timely

Qualifications

• Experience as an MRI Cardiac Radiographer with Siemens systems.
• Band 7 level radiographer experience in an NHS setting.
• Ability to set up a new cardiac MRI service and work with the MDT.

Responsibilities

• Manage the cardiac MRI imaging workflow to meet clinical demands.
• Provide specialist training and support to junior radiographers in cardiac MRI.
• Adhere to clinical governance, health and MRI safety protocols.
• Demonstrate competency in all MRI exams, with emphasis on cardiac MRI.
• Ensure documentation and image quality control for diagnostics.
• Contribute to CPD and service improvement initiatives.
