Job summary

Dewis Centre for Independent Living is seeking a part-time personal assistant to support a 16-year-old boy in the Abercynon area. The role requires supervision at all times due to safety awareness and anxiety noted in the child’s ASD profile.

The position is 6 hours per week at £16.60 per hour. A full UK driving licence and car ownership are essential. Knowledge of stimming and autism-related needs will help provide appropriate support, with training provided as needed.

Personal assistant required to support a a 16-year-old boy living in the Abercynon area. He has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and currently currently awaiting assessment for ADHD and Tourette’s.
