Job summary

Motion Applied is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Data Platforms Team. You will design and deliver complex products for the ATLAS suite, using C#.NET, WPF, and SQL to capture, visualize and model real-time and historic telemetry data for motorsport applications.

You will work in an Agile environment, collaborating with engineers and product managers to ensure robust, scalable software and high quality release delivery. Hybrid working and a supportive team culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or similar technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Strong understanding of Software Engineering principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in C#.NET and experience with WPF and SQL.
• Experience with Git version control and branching strategies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, preferably Azure DevOps.
• Good grasp of agile project management and ability to work in a team or solo.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the ATLAS software suite and related systems.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Field Engineers to resolve race issues.
• Analyse user requirements for validity and feasibility.
• Document and track software defects; ensure quality through testing.
• Contribute to release planning and provide development estimates.
• Write technical documentation and support knowledge transfer.
