Job summary

Prodrive in the United Kingdom is seeking a Systems and Controls Engineer to maintain reliability and improve performance across Motorsport programmes, with a focus on Rally Raid. The role covers embedded control software, model-based control algorithms, and data systems development.

The position is based at Banbury, Oxfordshire, and requires hands-on experience with MATLAB/Simulink, Python, C, CAN/LIN/Ethernet, and Bosch Motorsport tools to support factory and customer teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support and development on Windows, networking, MS Office.
• Programming experience in MATLAB/Simulink, Python, C.
• Familiarity with CAN, LIN and Ethernet protocols.
• Experience with wiring looms and vehicle subsystems.
• Motorsport or automotive control units experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded control software for motorsport applications.
• Develop control strategies to maximise performance and reliability.
• Manage electronic system specifications and software updates.
• Data analysis and system-wide commissioning on test and event.
• Support software integration, release management and configuration control.
• Work with Software, Electrical and Customer Support teams.
