Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is assisting a globally recognised motorsport business in recruiting an Operations & Events Manager (Motorsport) in Banbury. The role leads the Motorsport & Events function, setting strategic direction and driving performance across international race, rally, and client event programmes.

The successful candidate will manage a multidisciplinary team, oversee vehicle readiness, and optimize logistics and operational delivery, with some overseas travel.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience within a motorsport environment.
• Background in event management and technical team coordination.

Responsibilities

• Take charge to define and deliver the strategic direction of the Motorsport & Events function.
• Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing multidisciplinary Motorsport & Events team.
• Own the commercial and operational performance of the company’s global motorsport and events programmes.
• Oversee race, rally, testing and customer programmes across international markets.
• Provide strategic oversight of vehicle readiness, technical operations, logistics and resource planning.
