Job summary

Cosworth Group Holdings Limited is seeking a key member of our Production team on a fixed-term basis to assemble high-quality, complex electronic products for leading Motorsport customers. You will interpret detailed assembly instructions and build documents, aiming for first-pass quality in a high-performance environment.

Role requires soldering skills to IPC-A-610 standards and diligent attention to detail, with collaboration in a small team and strict adherence to safety and data-protection

Qualifications

• Experience in electro-mechanical assembly required.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed assembly instructions, drawings and technical documentation.
• High level of manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Soldering capability with IPC-A-610 standards desirable; training can be provided.
• Strong commitment to quality and first-pass build principles.
• Ability to work methodically within a small team and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with GDPR/data protection practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble complex electronic products to engineering specifications.
• Interpret assembly instructions, drawings and build documentation accurately.
• Build to processes ensuring first-pass quality with no rework.
• Adhere to IPC-A-610 standards and uphold traceability.
• Encapsulate, label and perform final inspections to premium standards.
• Conduct precision soldering and low-level testing/power-up procedures.
• Collaborate in a small production team and communicate effectively.
• Manage workload to meet delivery deadlines while preserving quality.
• Follow health, safety and environmental policies and GDPR guidelines.
