Job summary

M-Sport UK is recruiting an Electrical Design Engineer to design and develop high-performance electrical systems for world-class motorsport programmes. You will work in a multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative concepts from concept through to manufacture and testing.

The role requires strong CAD skills, electrical engineering knowledge and attention to detail, with experience in high-performance environments being highly valued.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification required (BEng/MEng).
• Experience designing electrical systems, circuits and wiring harnesses.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD to create schematics and docs.
• Manufacturing knowledge of electrical assembly and connectors.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and vehicle electrical architecture.
• High attention to detail in engineering documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication within a multidisciplinary team.
• Logical, analytical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems, wiring harnesses and components using 3D CAD.
• Create and maintain electrical schematics, diagrams and BOMs.
