Job summary

Halfords in Cannock is hiring for a part-time team member (20 hours per week) to assist customers with motoring and cycling products. You will perform car parts fitting, cycle building and servicing, delivering market-leading service standards while working in-store and in the car park.

Training is provided to develop the skills needed, with a view to career progression within the Halfords Group. A rota includes weekends and a proactive, customer-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering great customer service in retail
• Proactive approach to helping customers and understanding their needs
• Ability to work on a rota basis, including weekends
• Ideally some knowledge of car parts fitting and cycle repair

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide range of fitting services including car parts fitting, technology fitting, cycle building and cycle servicing
• Assist customers with vehicle and cycling needs in-store and in the car park
• Develop practical problem-solving skills while working quickly and efficiently
• Contribute to achieving sales targets in a customer-focused environment
• Participate in training to grow career in retail within Halfords Group
