Job summary

Vertu BMW Motorrad Sunderland is seeking a skilled Motorcycle Technician to join our expanding team in a modern workshop. You will be responsible for servicing, maintenance and repairs on both new and used motorcycles while upholding exceptional customer service and technical standards.

The role requires NVQ Level 2/City & Guilds, a full motorcycle licence, and strong diagnostic skills. An MOT licence is advantageous but not essential, with a £4,000 sign-on opportunity and up to £38,950 base

Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds or equivalent is expected.
A full motorcycle licence.
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Commitment to delivering quality workmanship and customer service.
MOT licence is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on new and used motorcycles.
Diagnose faults using the latest manufacturer technology and equipment.
Complete vehicle health checks and identify additional work.
Conduct inspections in line with manufacturer and DVSA standards.
Road test motorcycles and ensure work meets high standards.
Complete workshop documentation and job records accurately.
Work efficiently to meet productivity targets while ensuring safety and quality.
Deliver outstanding customer experience through high-quality workmanship.
