My client is a main motorbike dealership in Chiswick, Who are currently looking to recruit a motorcycle technician to join their team.

Key Responsibilities;

• Carry out repairs and services to motorcycles following procedures and ensuring the highest possible standards are maintained
• Interpret instructions from the job card/repair order, complying with repair instructions and stipulated settings and tolerances from manufacturers’ manuals, bulletins, check sheets, etc.
• Accurately report and record work done and tests carried out and to immediately report any further works required or vehicle faults
• Ensure the parts department are aware of the parts, necessary for the repair
• Liaise with customers on technical/product matters
• Keep up-to-date with the most recent changes in technology, techniques and in the commercial developments

Skills, experience and attributes;

• A full UK motorcycle licence is essential
• Qualified to NVQ Level 3 minimum or equivalent
• 2 years plus experience as a qualified motorcycle technician
• MOT Testing would be an advantage
• Full Honda training will be provided, enabling the successful candidate to work towards Master Technician status
• Ability to achieve high productivity and efficiency
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent timekeeping to ensure our tight deadlines are met

Location:Chiswick

Hours:45 hours per week Monday to Saturday on a rota basis (some flexibility will be required to meet the needs of the business)
