Job summary

Kirklees College in Huddersfield is seeking a Motor Vehicle Workshop Facilitator to be based at the engineering centre. You will oversee the end-point assessment process and ensure equipment is prepared for commercial delivery, while supporting students and staff in high‑quality practical training.

You will maintain tools and stock, supervise practical tasks, assist demonstrations and apprenticeship assessments, and ensure a clean, professional learning environment in line with College values.

Qualifications

• Safe, efficient, organized workshop operation.
• Maintain tools/equipment, monitor stock, prepare for sessions and ensure health and safety compliance.
• Supervise students during tasks, support demonstrations, assist apprenticeship assessments.
• Communicate effectively, engage with learners and uphold college values.
