Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a Motor Vehicle Teacher to join an alternative provision setting in Milton Keynes, supporting young people with SEN and SEMH needs. This is an opportunity for an experienced Motor Vehicle teacher, vocational tutor or industry professional with teaching experience who is passionate about helping young people develop practical skills and confidence.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Motor Vehicle and confident delivering practical hands-on learning.
• Experience working with SEN/SEM H or challenging behaviour is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging practical and theory-based Motor Vehicle lessons.
• Support students to develop their knowledge and practical skills within the motor vehicle sector.
• Adapt teaching to meet a range of SEN, SEMH and additional learning needs.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with students and encourage engagement with education.
• Provide clear boundaries, structure and consistent expectations within classroom/workshop environments.
• Support students to develop confidence, independence, teamwork and employability skills.
• Monitor student progress and provide appropriate feedback.
