Job summary

TR2 Recruitment is recruiting for a Motor Vehicle Tutor to join a well-established college in North Yorkshire, with an ASAP start and hourly-paid contract, short-term or term-length options, with potential for Temp to Perm.

The role involves delivering practical and theory-based Motor Vehicle training, supporting learners toward qualifications, developing workshop skills and technical knowledge, assessing progress, and enforcing safety standards in the workshop.

Qualifications

• Strong practical experience within Light Vehicle / Motor Vehicle
• A relevant Level 3 Motor Vehicle qualification
• Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance, servicing and repair
• The ability to communicate technical information clearly
• A genuine interest in supporting and developing learners
• Teaching experience and a teaching qualification would be advantageous but are not essential

Responsibilities

• Deliver practical and theory-based Motor Vehicle training
• Support learners working towards Motor Vehicle qualifications
• Develop learners' practical workshop skills and technical knowledge
• Assess learner progress and provide feedback
• Maintain high standards of workshop health and safety
• Use your industry experience to prepare learners for employment
