Job Title: Motor Vehicle Technician / Mechanic

Location: Epsom - KT19

Salary: Basic Salary Up To £37,000 + Bonus - OTE Between £42,000 - £45,000.

Role is full time and permanent: 44.5hrs per week

Our client is one of the largest independent dealer groups in the country, operating 61 dealership sites across the UK and Channel Islands.

Training: During your first 12 months, you will be trained to IMI Level 3 in Electric Vehicle Maintenance and Repair to keep your skills relevant throughout your career.

Job Purpose: To provide excellent customer care, technical advice, vehicle inspections, diagnosis, maintenance, and repairs, following approved procedures to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition. Maintain safety standards and meet legislative and corporate standards, embodying our client's Purpose, Principles, and Ambition (PPA).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality technical advice, service, and maintenance for Ford and other brand vehicles.
  • Operate within relevant legislation, company policies, manufacturer protocols, and supplier guidelines.
  • Assist Senior and Master Technicians and pursue ongoing learning and development.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of work performed.
  • Foster a supportive team culture aligned with our client's PPA.
  • Commit to continuous learning and resource-efficient service delivery.

Essential Requirements:

  • Fully qualified – City & Guilds Level 2 or 3, NVQ Level 2 or 3, or equivalent.
  • Ability to manage processes, administration, and paperwork effectively.
  • Previous automotive technician experience; MOT testing qualification and main dealership experience preferred.
  • Full driving license held for at least 6 months with fewer than 9 penalty points.
  • Proof of right to work in the UK.
