Job summary

You will plan and deliver engaging sessions, assess progress, and maintain a safe, well‑organised workshop in line with health and safety requirements while supporting learners to achieve qualifications and progress into employment or further study.

Qualifications

• Essential: Relevant industry experience in motor vehicle repair, maintenance or a related trade
• Essential: A recognised motor vehicle qualification at Level 3 or above
• Essential: Strong communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate learners
• Desirable: A teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one
• Desirable: Experience teaching or assessing in a further education setting

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering motor vehicle lessons that meet the needs of all learners
• Assessing learner progress and providing constructive, timely feedback
• Maintaining a safe, well-organised workshop environment in line with health and safety requirements
• Supporting learners to achieve their qualifications and progress towards employment or further study
• Keeping up to date with developments in the motor vehicle industry and reflecting these in your teaching
