Job summary

Kemp Recruitment Ltd in Runcorn is seeking a fully qualified Motor Vehicle Technician to maintain and repair a mixed fleet of vans and cars for hire. A £3,000 Golden Hello is offered on top of a strong basic salary of £38,700, with overtime paid at 1.5x and realistic OTE of £42,000–£45,000.

The role is a permanent, full-time position with day shifts only (Mon-Fri). You will ensure vehicles are safe and compliant for hire, perform servicing, diagnostics and repairs, and keep accurate service

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) is essential.
• Proven experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and repairing the rental fleet - vans and cars.
• Ensuring vehicles are safe and legally compliant for hire.
• Carrying out servicing, diagnostics, and repairs.
• Completing job cards and service records accurately.
• Working efficiently within a busy workshop team.
