Job summary

Northgate Vehicle Hire in Inverness is seeking a Vehicle Technician to operate in a modern workshop. The role offers fixed day shifts, no nights, and a strong bonus culture, including a £3,000 Golden Hello. You will work with a large fleet and benefit from IMI-certified training to upskill into hybrid and EV systems.

The package includes a competitive basic salary with a bonus scheme and overtime paid at time and a half. Overtime opportunities are available to support the £50k OTE target.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Level 3 Technician or Mechanic.
• Experience in workshop-based vehicle maintenance preferred.
• Strong tools handling and diagnostic capability.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex vehicle maintenance and repairs in a busy workshop.
• Diagnose faults and contribute to high first-time fix rates.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
