Job summary

Northgate Vehicle Hire is seeking a Vehicle Technician to maintain and repair our fleet so that every vehicle hired is safe and compliant with legal standards. The role calls for a Level 2 Technician with at least 3 years’ experience or a fully qualified Level 3 Technician, with access to our IMI-accredited training program.

Salary

£43,639 pa OTE (basic £37,639k pa + £6,000 bonus OTE + Overtime)

Weekly Hours

42.5 hours / Day Shifts Only. As and when required overtime is available and this is paid at time and half.

About you

As a Vehicle Technician you are responsible for the maintenance and repair of our vehicles to ensure they are safe and legally compliant for our customers to hire. If you are Level 2 Qualified Technician with at least 3 years employment as a technician/mechanic or fully qualified Level 3 Technician / Mechanic, we would love to hear from you.

About our training

We have our own internal IMI accredited training department, where we can upskill you on such things as Hybrid & EV vehicle repair, Tail lift, braking systems, electrics etc:

For those trained to Level 2, you can take a training needs analysis so we can build a personalised training program for you to increase your skillset.
